This event is supported by Community Bank Balnarring
This is a free event, please arrive around 1030am for an 11am performance.
Please bring sun protection and bug protection.
Our annual gathering at Willum Warrain has become a treasured part of the festival, growing through shared performances, new music and an ongoing relationship with the community. This year, violinist and composer Eric Avery joins Fiasco String Quartet to perform his own music, including Sacred Medicines, inspired by bush medicines he learnt about from his parents. Hearing Eric share music drawn from his family’s knowledge and his connection to culture makes this a particularly special continuation of that relationship. Join us at Willum Warrain’s Aboriginal Gathering Place for a Sunday morning of listening, learning and spending time together through music.
